Two Temple Field Hockey Players Named Division I Regional All-Americans

Temple field hockey seniors, Michelle Murawski and Serene McGrath were
named to the 2000 Astro Turf/NFHCA Division I Regional All-American team
for the Mid-Atlantic Region, it was announced today. Murawski was named
to the first team and McGrath the second team.
Murawski (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) ended the season with two
goals, two assists, four defensive saves and one game winning goal, a
total of six points from the back position. Murawski previously earned
the same honor in 1998 and was named to the second team in 1999.
Murawski was also named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference team and the
Atlantic 10 Conference All-Championship team this year.
Goalkeeper McGrath (Cinnaminson, N.J./Little Flower) ended the season
with five shutouts and 163 saves over a total of 21 games.
