Field Hockey Team Falls In A-10 Title Match

AMHERST, MA - The Temple University field hockey team ended its 2000 season on Sunday (Nov. 5), falling to host Massachusetts in the championship match of the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament, 3-0.

It was the Owls' second loss of the season to the Minutewomen, which also won the A-10 regular season title with a perfect 5-0 conference record.

The Owls concluded the campaign with an overall record of 11-11, marking the program's most wins in the eight-year tenure of head coach Lauren Fuchs.
