Ray Moyer has revealed that basketball player Quincy Wadley, who was
forced out in the first half of Dec. 2, 69-62 loss at Villanova,
has suffered a first degree left shoulder sprain with no visible separation
of the acromio clavicular (AC) joint. Wadley will undergo x-rays later
today for further evaluation tomorrow. Based upon the physical
evaluation, his prognosis for return to full motion is estimated at
five-to-10 days, with a worst-case scenario of two weeks.
A starter in each of Temple's eight games this season, Wadley left last
night's game with approximately three minutes to play in the first half.
He did not score in three shot attempts, but recorded two steals. For
the season, he is Temple's third-leading scorer and fifth-leading
rebounder, with per-game averages of 10.2 points and 3.8 rebounds.
Next up for Temple (4-4) is a visit to Penn State on Saturday (Dec. 9,
