Wadley Earns Fourth Year of Eligibility

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University men's basketball player Quincy
Wadley has officially earned his Bachelor's Degree and qualified for a
fourth year of eligibility, head coach John Chaney announced Monday.
Wadley is the first Temple student-athlete to take advantage of the revised
NCAA rule.
Wadley, a 6-4 guard from Harrisburg, Pa., officially graduated on Friday
with a B.A. in African American Studies and is enrolled at Temple for a
second Baccalaureate degree in Sports and Recreation Management.
Wadley has been granted the fourth year of eligibility under NCAA bylaws
14.3.3.1 and 14.3.3.1.1, which became effective Aug. 1, 2000.
Wadley, who has played for Chaney the last three seasons, started 31
games and played in all 33 contests in 1999-2000, averaging 12.8 ppg.
He was named the Atlantic 10 tournament's Most Outstanding Player after
helping to lead the Owls to their first Atlantic 10 championship in 10 years.
