Iowa Downs Towson, 2-0, to Finish Third in the Temple Invitational

PHILADELPHIA - Iowa beat Towson, 2-0, September 10 at Geasey Field in the
consolation game of the Field Hockey Temple Invitational Tournament.
The Hawkeyes were led by Tiffany Fodera and Margot McMahon who each
scored a goal. Maria Merluzzi, Lauren Edwards and Susan Gibson each
added an assist for Iowa. Betsy Crossman stood out for Towson with ten
saves in the cage.
The championship game between the host Temple Owls and North Carolina
will be played at 1:30 p.m. September 10 at Geasey Field.
