Temple Loses a Heartbreaker to Richmond, 2-1, in Overtime

PHILADELPHIA - (Sept. 17) Temple lost, 2-1, to Richmond September 17 at Geasey
Field in overtime.
Senior Laura Bergey (Telford, Pa./Christopher Dock) scored the only
goal for the Owls with 12:17 left in the first half. This was her first
goal of the season. Senior Kacy Ziomek (Sweet Valley, Pa./Lake Lehman)
added an assist.
For the Spiders, Holly Chase scored their first goal with 25:36 left in
the first period. She was assisted on the goal by Beth Greer. Heather
Rice scored the winning goal with 10:18 left in overtime.
The Owls will next be in action on Sat. Sept. 23 against Georgetown at
1:00 p.m. at Geasey Field.
