Kasper Named A-10 Field Hockey Rookie of the Week

PHILADELPHIA (Sept. 5, 2000) - Temple freshman Rachel Kasper was named
the Atlantic 10 Conference field hockey rookie of the week for her
performance this past weekend.
Kasper's aggressive defense at the center back position resulted in six
interceptions in the Owls' 5-1 win against Ursinus Saturday. Kasper
recorded eight interceptions in her team's 1-0 loss to Lehigh Sunday.
Kasper is a 5-6 freshman from Hunlock Creek, Pa. and attended
Lake-Lehman High School.
