OWLS LOSE 2-0 TO GEORGETOWN

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple lost to Georgetown in field hockey 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at Kehoe Field. The loss puts the Owls' record 6-9, and 0-2 in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

The Owls senior goalkeeper April Herman (Lancaster, Pa/Conestoga Valley) had five saves and held Georgetown scoreless for the second half of the game. Joann Engestrom (Middletown, Md./Middletown) had six shots for the Owls.

Temple (6-8,0-2,A-10) will visit Rhode Island in A-10 action on Saturday, afternoon at 11 a.m.
