OWLS LOSE TO RICHMOND IN OVERTIME 1-0

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple lost to Richmond in field hockey 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Crenshaw Field. The loss puts the Owls' record 6-8, and 0-2 in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

The Owls senior goalkeeper April Herman (Lancaster, Pa/Conestoga Valley) had 12 saves and held the Spiders scoreless for all of regulation. The Temple defense allowed Richmond only two shots in the first half. Richmond's freshman goalkeeper collected seven saves for the match.

Temple (6-8,0-2,A-10) will visit Georgetown on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
