OWLS DROP A-10 OPENER TO HAWKS 3-2

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple was defeated 3-2 by Saint Joseph's (6-4,1-0,A-10),on Saturday, afternoon at Temple's Geasey Field. The loss drops the Owls' record to 5-7 overall and 0-1 in the Atlantic 10.

The Hawks were led by juniors Kelly Butler's two goals and Brett Dymarczyk's one goal (game-winning goal) and an assist.

Temple goals were scored by sophomore Susan Nase (Reading ,PA./Exter Township) and senior Kacy Ziomek on a penalty corner. Senior Virginia Gonzalez (Reading, PA./Twin Valley) posted two assist to take over the Owls scoring lead with 10 points.

Temple (5-7,0-1,A-10) will host Penn on Wednesday, Afternoon at Geasey Field start time 3:30 pm.
