TEMPLE AND VILLANOVA SQUARE OFF IN BIG 5 CITY SERIES MATCHUP AT THE PALESTRA

The Temple Owls (3-3, 0-0) and Villanova Wildcats (3-2, 0-0) do battle tonight for the 75th time in a Big 5 City Series game at the Palestra in Philadelphia.

The Owls, led by All-America candidate and the second-leading scorer in the nation Lynn Greer, comes into the contest at 3-3 with all three losses at the hands of teams currently ranked in the Top 5 in the country (Duke, Maryland and Florida).

Villanova comes in at 3-2, fresh off a gut-wrenching 75-74 loss to Pennsylvania. The Wildcats saw a 12-point second-half lead vanish in the process.
