PHILADELPHIA (Feb. 14) - Junior center Ron Rollerson (Pennsauken, NJ), who was forced to depart with an injury early in the second half of the Owls' 71-62 loss at St. Joseph's last night, underwent x-ray evaluation today and has been diagnosed to have suffered a severe sprain of the mid left foot. Temple University Team Doctor Ray Moyer has estimated his time of recovery at three-to-five weeks.

Rollerson, who has appeared in each of the Owls' 26 games and made 20 starts, has averaged 3.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in 18.0 minutes of court time per game. Currently in his third season at Temple, the 6-10, 290-pound psychology major possesses the highest field goal shooting percentage on the team at .574 (39-68) and ranks second in shot blocks with 23.

Temple (14-12, 8-4 Atlantic 10) has just four games remaining on its regular-season schedule. The slate includes a crucial A-10 Conference visit to Massachusetts on Saturday, followed by home games with Dayton (Feb. 24) and La Salle (Feb. 28) and a road game at George Washington (Mar. 3). The Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament is scheduled for Mar. 7-10 in Philadelphia.
