OWLS FALL TO #15 LIONS 4-0

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple was defeated by #15 Penn State 4-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Geasey Field.

The lost drops the Owls'record to 4-4 overall and level the Lions'record to 3-3 overall. Temple has lost four straight games, three of the four losses have been to teams ranked in the top twenty teams # 2 North Carolina, #20 Delaware and #15 Penn State.

Temple's senior goalkeeper April Herman (Lancaster , Pa./ Conestoga Valley) recorded 15 saves and allowed three goals. Sophomore Erin Conroy (Centereach, NY/ Centereach) replaced Herman with 10:30 remaining in the second half.

The Lion's midfielder Timarie Legel posted two first --half goals. Legel scored at 25:15 and 8:21 o giving Penn State a 2-0 lead. Sophomore Neilye Stone (30:43) and Senior Kiley Kulina (2:21) added second half goals.

The Owls (4-4) will visit the number one ranked team in the nation Old Dominion on Saturday at 1p.m.
