PHILADELPHIA- Temple (4-5) was defeated by the number one ranked team in the nation Old Diminion 9-0 on Saturday afternoon in Norfolk, Virginia.The lost was the Owls fifth in a row and the teams fourth to a top twenty team. During the the streak the Owls have lost to #2 North Carolina (the Tar Heels were ranked #1 at that time of the contest), #15 Penn State, #20 Delaware and current #1 Old Dominion.

Temple was out scored 5-0 in the first half and 4-0. In the last three weeks the Owls have faced four teams in the top twenty teams.

Temple (4-5) will host Virginia Commonwealth on Sunday, afternoon at Geasey Field, the start time is 1 p.m.
