KINGSTON, R.I. - The Temple volleyball team (18-5, 9-0 A-10) extended its winning streak to 11 matches with a 3-1 Atlantic 10 Conference win over Rhode Island (7-14, 3-5). The game scores were 19-30, 30-18, 33-31 and 30-27.

Junior outside hitter Xu Yun, the reigning Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, led Temple with 15 kills and 11 digs. Fellow junior Liu Shu added 14 kills and a team-high 15 digs. Sophomore setter Allison Runk had 43 assists for the Owls.

Kaleena Miller led Rhode Island with a match-high 20 kills. Brooke Ecklund added 13 kills, eight digs and three blocks. Setter Juliana Valencia had a match-high 45 assists and five digs for the Rams.

Temple continues its Rams only road trip when it travels to Bronx, N.Y. to face the Fordham Rams on Saturday, October 26. Match time is 4:00 p.m.
