TEMPLE VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS FORDHAM, EXTENDS WIN STREAK TO 12 MATCHES

Bronx, N.Y.- The Temple volleyball team (19-5, 10-0) remained unbeaten in conference play with a road victory over Fordham (9-16, 2-7) three games to none on October 26. The game scores were 30-25, 30-17, and 30-18 for the Owls who pushed their current win streak to 12 games.

Temple was in control from the start, as the Owls outhit Fordham by a .298 to .143 margin. Junior outside hitter Yamit Haba led all attackers with 16 kills and 11 digs, while fellow juniors Xu Yun (13 kills, 15 digs) and Liu Shu (11 kills, 13 digs) also recorded double-doubles for the Owls.

Roxanne Hill led Fordham with nine kills, two service aces, and two blocks, while Kristyn Daly had the Rams lone double-double with 21 assists and 17 digs.

The Owls will have some time to savor their winning ways as Temple's next match is a non-conference trip down I-95 to face the University of Delaware on Wednesday, November 6. Match time is at 7:00 p.m.
