NEWARK, DE -- The Temple volleyball team (20-5) defeated the University of Delaware (9-17) 3-1, on November 26 at Viera Court at Carpenter Sports Building. The game scores were 30-24, 22-30, 30-13 and 30-18 for the Owls who ran their current unbeaten streak to 13 matches.

Junior outside hitter Xu Yun led Temple with a match-high 21 kills and nine digs. Fellow juniors Yamit Haba (12 kills) and Charity Hill (10 kills) also posted double digit kill numbers. Setting things up was sophomore Alison Runk with a match-high 52 assists. As a team, Temple out-hit Delaware .288 to .136

Liz Ommundsen led the Blue Hens 12 kills while junior Allison Hunter notched 34 assists and 10 digs for Delaware.

Next up for Temple, a return to McGonigle Hall and a return to conference action as the first place Owls face third place George Washington on Friday, November 8 at 7:00 p.m. Temple then concludes its home schedule on Saturday, November 9 when it faces Duquesne at 4:00 p.m. on "Senior Day"
