TEMPLE AND VILLANOVA TO MEET ON FRIDAY NIGHT IN NIT QUARTERFINAL ROUND GAME

The Temple Owls (17-14) meet the Villanova Wildcats (19-12) for a Final Four berth in the Owens Corning National Invitation Tournament next Tuesday night. The Owls look like they will be without their star guard, Lynn Greer, who suffered a right ankle sprain on a wet floor in the game down at Freedom Hall when they Owls came back from a 17-point second-half deficit to defeat the Cardinals, 65-62.
