OWLS LOSE TO NO.12 PENN STATE 3-0 IN FIELD HOCKEY

PHILADELPHIA-Temple loss to No.12 ranked Penn State 3-0 at State College, Pa. The loss drops the Owls'record to 0-4. and the win raises the Nittany Lions' record to 3-0.

For the Owls junior goalkeeper Erin Conroy (Centereach, NY./Centereach) had eight saves.Temple was outshot 29-4 for the game.

Penn State scored all three goals in the first half. Heather Conroy, Timarie Legal and Jill Martz scored goals for the Lions.

Temple (0-4) will next host Hofstra on Sunday, September 15 at 12 noon.
