FARIA AND FRITZE EARN ATLANTIC 10 CONFERENCE WEEKLY HONORS

PHILADELPHIA-Morgan Faria and Melissa Fritze earned the Atlantic 10 Conference weekly honors for the week ending September 15.The Owls (1-4) maybe the best 1-4 team in the nation, with three of their four losses coming to teams ranked in the top ten (#7 Penn State, #8 Iowa and #10 North Carolina).

Faria (South Dartmouth,Ma./Dartmouth) had two assist. She also recorded four interceptions and created four offensive corners in the Owls 3-2 overtime win.

Fritze (Piscataway, NJ./Piscataway) tallied one goal and assisted on two others, she played the entire 79 minutes, creating two offensive corners and recording four interceptions in the Owls victory over #14 Hofstra.

The Owls (1-4) schedule does not get any easier as they travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan to play the defending national champions and third ranked Michigan (5-1) on Saturday, September 21.
