Tuesday's contest will be televised live on Comcast SportsNet. It is one of 21 Temple games this season to be televised.

The lone highlight for Temple came with 4:44 remaining in the first half when junior guard David Hawkins became the 39th Owl in the 107-year history of the program to reach the 1,000-point plateau. Hawkins, who entered the game with 997 career points, scored 10 to pace Temple.
Saint Joseph's is coming off a 76-47 victory over UMass at home last Saturday. The Hawks shot 60.5 percent (26-43) from the field while the Minutemen committed 26 turnovers. Jameer Nelson leads SJU in the scoring column, averaging 19.1 points-per-game.
Temple and and Saint Joseph's have met 130 times in a series that dates back to 1901-02, with the Owls holding a 76-54 advantage in victories. The Owls defeated the Hawks 87-84 in double overtime at the Palestra on March 3, 2002 in the last meeting between the schools.
