Bethlehem, PA - The Temple field hockey team was defeated 1-0 by Lehigh on Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference game. The win improves the host Mountain Hawks' record to 7-11 overall while the Owls fall to 10-9, (4-1 A-10). Seventeen of Temple's 19 games have been decided by one goal this season.

Lehigh's Blaire Goodwin scored the lone goal of the game at the 30-minute mark of the first half off a pass from Kelsey Smith.

Owls goalie Erin Conroy had five saves while Mountain Hawks goalies Jeanne Hoff (two saves) and Meghan Gove combined for on the shutout. Gove, who replaced Hoff at the half posted no saves in 35:00 minutes of action.

Temple out-shot Lehigh 9-5, and held an advantage in penalty corners, 6-1.

The Owls, who have clinched the two seed in the A-10 Field Hockey Championships will host conference foe, Saint Joseph's in their season finale on Saturday, (Nov. 1) at 12 noon.
