11.20.25 | Field Hockey
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – After helping lead Temple University field hockey to 12 wins this season, Peyton Rieger has been named to the NFHCA Collegiate Senior Team. One of just 38 players nationwide selected, the honor recognizes student-athletes for their competitive excellence, leadership, and lasting impact on their programs.
Rieger was a force from start to finish in her senior campaign, posting 10 goals and seven assists for 27 points — the most by a Temple player since Alyssa Delp's 37-point senior season in 2015. She ended her career in dramatic fashion, scoring her fifth game-winning goal of the season in overtime of a 3–2 victory over Providence.
Rieger finished the year tied for second in the BIG EAST in both points and goals, and seventh in assists. She earned two BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week awards and was named the 2025 BIG EAST Co-Offensive Player of the Year.
Temple closed the 2025 season with a 12-6 record.
