MEN'S AND WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TO PLAY PRESEASON DOUBLEHEADER AT MCGONIGLE HALL

It will be ladies first as coach Dawn Staley and the women's team take the floor against the Turkish National Team at 6:00 p.m. The Owls feature the "Pair Jordan" backcourt of junior guard Cynthia Jordan and freshman guard Britney Jordan, a high school All-American, who is the highest-rated recruit in the history of the program. Temple also has the inside presence of junior forward Ari Moore and sophomore center Candice Dupree.
Following the women's game, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Hall of Fame coach John Chaney leads his squad into McGonigle to take on Team Ezybonds in the second half of the exhibition doubleheader. The Owls have an All-America candidate in senior David Hawkins, four returning starters and a top 25 recruiting class to debut.
Temple will return to its normal home arena, the Liacouras Center, on Friday, November 14 for another exhibition doubleheader. The women's team will play host to Team Concept at 6:00 p.m. after which the men will take on the E.A. Sports All-Star Team.
