TEMPLE CREW TO HOST COXSWAIN'S CLINIC

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University will host a Coxswain's clinic on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at the Holiday Inn on City Line Ave. The clinic will begin at 8 a.m. and will run until 5 p.m. covering topics such as Safety: how to handle rough condition and what to do in an emergency; Steering: how to handle cross winds and currents; Communication: working with athletes and coaches. Guest speakers will include Pete Cipollone, a World Champion and Olympian, Yasmin Farooq, a World Champion and Olympian as well as Marcus McElhenney and Mary Whipple, both World Champions.
