Temple (11-13, 8-5) tries to keep a hold on second place in the Atlantic 10 Conference Eastern Division when it takes on third place St. Bonaventure (13-13, 7-6) in a key league battle at the Liacouras Center Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m. The game is the second of a three-game home stand for the Owls, their longest of the season.

Temple is currently riding a four-game winning streak, its longest of the season, while capturing eight of its last 10 games. The Owls had a successful February, going 6-1 to improve their overall record under Chaney to 140-48 (.745) in the 28-day month.

Temple and St. Bonaventure are meeting for the 47th time in a series that dates back to 1929, with the Owls holding a 40-6 advantage.

The Owls are fresh from an impressive 88-46 win over visiting Massachusetts last Wednesday night. It was Temple's 53rd consecutive victory when holding an opponent under 50 points. The 42-point win marked the largest margin of victory in 50 meetings between the schools. Leading 26-13 with 7:03 remaining in the opening half, TU held the Minutemen scoreless the rest of the stanza, going on a 16-0 run to close out the half and take a 42-14 advantage into the locker room. For the third straight game, all five Temple starters registered double-digit scoring totals, led by co-captains Alex Wesby and David Hawkins who each contributed 17 points. Brian Polk deposited 11 points and freshmen Maurice Collins and Keith Butler scored 14 and 10, respectively. Butler also grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds to record his second double-double of the season, both against UMass.

St. Bonaventure comes off a thrilling 94-89 overtime victory at home against George Washington Wednesday night. Trailing 70-64 with 5:39 left in regulation, the Bonnies rode the shoulders of A-10 scoring leader Marques Green, who deposited 22 points over the last 8:00 minutes of the contest to finish with a game-high 32.
