DUSTIN SALISBERY SIGNS NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT TO ATTEND TEMPLE UNIVERSITY

Salisbery, a 6-4 guard, attends J. P. McCaskey High School in Lancaster, PA. He averaged 22.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game as a senior, where he led his team to a 25-7 overall record before losing in the state quarter-final game against Glen Mills. Salisbery scored 36 points in the losing effort.
McCaskey Coach Steve Powell said of Salisbery, "Howard Garfinkel of Five Star ranks Dustin among the Top 100 players nationally. He has been blessed with tremendous talent. His potential is unlimited and he will fit in very well at Temple."
In his senior season, Salisbery was named first team all-state and all Big School all-state. He was also named all-league and all-section as a junior and senior.
He was named Most Valuable Player of this year's Pennsylvania -- Maryland all-star game and also Most Valuable Player and Slam Dunk Champion at this year's Pittsburgh Hoops Classic. He scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the game which pitted a group of Pennsylvania all-stars against a group of national all-stars.
Coach Chaney said of Salisbery, "We are thrilled that this student-athlete has decided to attend Temple University. He will make an impact and contribution to our basketball program."
