Blackshear, a 6-6 forward, played in 23 games last season, starting twice. The Philadelphia native (Simon Gratz HS) led the Owls last season with a 5.9 rebound average while tallying 2.3 points per contest. He also led the team and ranked third in the Atlantic 10 Conference in offensive rebounding (3.1 avg.).
Junior Micheal Blackshear has been suspended indefinitely from the Temple University men's basketball team for a violation of team rules, announced head coach John Chaney.
