FIELD HOCKEY TO FACE TOP SEED RICHMOND IN A-10 SEMIFINALS

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple field hockey team will square off with top seeded and #10 Richmond at Richard Garber Field at the University of Massachusetts on Friday at  5 p.m. The Owls enter the tournament with a record of 9-10, 3-3 in the A-10. Six of Temple's 10 losses were to teams ranked in the top 20, including a 4-0 home loss earlier this season to the Spiders. Follow the action live via GameTracker.

UR enter the A-10 Championship having posted a perfect 6-0 league mark for the third straight year. Richmond also owns a 15-2 record and a #10 national ranking.

The second semifinal game features host and #2 seed Massachusetts (8-12, 4-2) versus #3 seed Saint Joseph's (11-7, 3-3) at 7p.m. The championship game is slated for 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov.6.
