RUTH EARNS SECOND TEAM ALL-REGION HONORS

PHILADELPHIA - Junior back Talia Ruth, a two-time All-Atlantic 10 performer, added another award to her resume today when she was selected to the all-region second team, announced by NFHCA. It is the second consecutive year that Ruth has been named to the Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team.
Ruth, a starter in all but one game this season, tied for the team lead in goals (four) and was second in scoring (eight points). Three of her four goals were game-winners, which placed her third in the conference. She also quarterbacked a backfield that sported a 2.36 GAA average, good for third in the Atlantic 10.
The Schwenksville, Pa. (Souderton HS) native joined two other Atlantic 10 players on the second team. Saint Joseph's forward Nicole Antonini and La Salle's Sara Camilli were both honored by the NFHCA.
Temple finished its season with a 9-11-0 record and 3-3-0 mark in the A-10. The Owls fell in conference semifinals to eventual league-champion, Richmond.
