LIMITED NUMBER OF TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR MEN'S BASKETBALL GAME AGAINST VILLANOVA SATURDAY

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University ticket office has a limited number of tickets available for Saturday's game against Villanova at The Palestra (3:30 p.m.). The game is part of the Big 5 Classic and is part of a doubleheader. The first game features La Salle at Penn (1:00 p.m.). There is no television for the Temple-Villanova game.
For ticket information on Saturday's game, and all Temple basketball contests, contact the Temple University Ticket Office at 215-204-5040 or stop by the Liacouras Center Box Office (9:00 am -- 5:00 p.m.).
The Philadelphia Big 5 will also be inducting two former players into the Hall of Fame at the games. Roland "Fatty" Taylor from La Salle will be enshrined at halftime of the Penn-La Salle game. And Saint Joseph's Maureen Costello will be honored at halftime of the evening game against Drexel (8:00 p.m.). A separate ticket is needed for that contest.
The Big 5 Classic is also a collection site for the Philadelphia Big 5 Slam Dunk Hunger Food Drive. Donations will be accepted at the Classic for the fourth straight year to help stock the shelves of the Greater Philadelphia Food Bank. Last year's Slam Dunk hunger food drive brought in 4,500 pounds of food to feed the needy in the Philadelphia area.
