DAVID HAWKINS TO COMPETE IN NABC ALL-STAR GAME

PHILADELPHIA (03/31/04) -- Temple University senior guard David Hawkins has been selected to compete on the NABC All-Star Team that will play the Harlem Globetrotters Friday, April 2 at the SBC Center in San Antonio, Texas. Hawkins is one of 12 college seniors selected to play in the game that is held in conjuction with the 2004 NCAA Final Four.

Hawkins, who led the Atlantic 10 Conference and ranked fourth in the nation with a 24.4 scoring average, is joined by Tony Bobbitt (Cincinnati), Erik Daniels (Kentucky), Miah Davis (Pacific), Andre Emmett (Texas Tech), Matt Freije (Vanderbilt), Leroy Hurd (UT-San Antonio), Matt Lottich (Stanford), Velimir Radinovic (Ohio State), Cory Violette (Gonzaga), Keith Waleskowski (Dayton) and Rashad Wright (Georgia).

The NABC All-Stars will be coach by Syracuse University head coach Jim Boeheim.
