FIELD HOCKEY'S ASHLEY BIRD NAMED CO-ATLANTIC 10 ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

PHILADELPHIA- Temple freshman Ashley Bird was selected A-10 co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending September 13. Bird assisted on the game-winning goal in the Owls'1-0 shutout win over Fairfield on Sunday (September 12). The assist off a penalty corner helped Temple even its record at 3-3 overall.

On the season Bird has one goal and one assist for three points. She has appeared in all six games.
