MEN'S BASKETBALL SWITCHES HOME DATES WITH SAINT JOSEPH'S

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple University and Saint Joseph's University have agreed to switch their men's basketball home dates for the 2004-05 season. Temple will now play Saint Joseph's at The Palestra on Saturday, February 12 (noon) while Saint Joseph's will travel to The Liacouras Center on Tuesday, February 22 (7:00 p.m.). The original schedule had Saint Joseph's first traveling to Temple. Both games will be broadcast by the Atlantic 10 Television Network and carried locally on Comcast SportsNet.
"By making this change more fans of Atlantic 10 and Big Five basketball will be able see the games live," said Temple Director of Athletics Bill Bradshaw. "We are glad to be able to facilitate this switch,"
The switch was necessitated due to the fact that The Palestra was unavailable for Saint Joseph's original home game in the series. Penn is hosting Ivy League rival Princeton on February 22.
