FIELD HOCKEY PLACES EIGHT ON 2004 NFHCA NATIONAL ACADEMIC SQUAD

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University field hockey team has placed eight student-athletes on the 2004 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National All-Academic Squad. Ashley Bird, Nadia Clendening, Erin Conroy, Andrea Duva, Dannon Mehaffey, Ashley Shepps, Leanne Vogelsong and Liz Watto have all been honored for their academic prowess during the 2004 season.

The student-athletes selected to the National Academic Squad have achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30 through the first semester of the 2004-05 academic year.
