TEMPLE CENTER KEITH BUTLER WITHDRAWS FROM UNIVERSITY

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple University center Keith Butler has officially withdrawn from the University.  Butler, a three-year starter with the Owls' men's basketball team, leaves the University with one year of intercollegiate eligibility remaining.

 

Butler averaged 4.0 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as a junior in 2004-05, playing in all 30 games while making 20 starts.  The 7-1 post player averaged 20.8 minutes per contest while hitting 47.4 percent from the field, 71.8 from the line while leading the team in blocks with 39.

 

For his career, the West Medford, Mass. native tallied 385 points, grabbed 476 rebounds and blocked 151 shots, good for sixth all-time at Temple.
