MAR DEL PLATA, ARGENTINA -- Senior All-America Candidate Mardy Collins had his best outing with Team USA, tallying 14 points over a team-high 23 minutes in helping the USA U21 squad to a 103-83 win over Lithuania in the second game of the 2005 FIBA U21 World Championships on Saturday afternoon. The USA team had previously defeated China, 117-50, on Friday.
Collins, who averaged 4.0 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals in helping the USA team to a perfect 4-0 record at the Global Games, connected on 5-of-11 from the field (2-6 3PT), 2-of-2 from the line, dished two assists, blocked one shot and recorded one steal against Lithuania. Marcus Williams (Connecticut) and Rajon Rondo (Kentucky) led the squad with 17 points.
Team USA, the defending FIBA U21 World Champions, next play Puerto Rico on Sunday.
