ANTHONY IVORY SIGNS MEN'S BASKETBALL SCHOLARSHIP LETTER

PHILADELPHIA -- Anthony Ivory, a 6-10, 300-pound center who attended Genesis One Christian School in Mendenhall, MS last year, has signed a scholarship letter to play men's basketball at Temple University. Ivory, who has already been processed through the NCAA Clearinghouse, is eligible for the 2005-06 season.

Ivory, ranked as the 73rd best prep 5th year prospect in 2004 according to Hoop Scoop, played his high school basketball at Marriott Charter in Washington, D.C. He originally signed a National Letter of Intent with Providence College in 2004, but opted to go to prep school.

At Marriott Charter, Ivory averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds per game. He was named as one of the Top 15 big men in the nation by Prepstars.com.
