Individual Basketball Game Tickets Go On Sale Friday

PHILADELPHIA - Individual game tickets for the 2006-07 Temple University men's and women's basketball teams go on sale Friday, October 27 at 10:00 a.m. at the Liacouras Center Box Office. Individual game tickets will also be available for purchase online at www.liacourascenter.com or by calling 1-800-298-4200.
First-year Temple men's basketball coach Fran Dunphy and his Owls will host 14 games at the Liacouras Center. The Owls, who enter the season with a string of 23 straight postseason appearances, open their home slate with a November 27 game against Buffalo (7:00 p.m.).
The three-time defending Atlantic 10 Conference champion Temple women's basketball team opens its 2006-07 regular season home slate against Georgia Tech on November 20 (7:00 p.m.). Head coach Dawn Staley, the A-10 Coach of the Year in 2004 and 2005, has put together a 14-game home schedule highlighted by a visit from defending NCAA Champion Maryland on Dec. 10 (2:00 p.m.). Tickets for the Maryland game will be $8 for general admission and $10 for reserved seating.

Long Beach State - Saturday, December 2 - "Mustache Day" In honor of new head coach Fran Dunphy, any patron who has a mustache will receive a $5 discount off all tickets at the Box Office.
Drexel - Friday, December 22 - Temple Basketball Ski Cap The first 2,000 fans ages 15 and older at the game will receive a Temple Basketball knit ski cap courtesy of Verizon Wireless.
MBB (La Salle)/WBB (Dayton) DH - Sunday, February 4 - Hatfield Dollar Dog Day All hot dogs are only $1!
UMASS - Sunday, February 11 - Hooter the Owl's Birthday Party The first 2,000 kids ages 14 and under at the game will receive a Temple Basketball replica jersey courtesy of the Philadelphia Federal Credit Union.
Charlotte - Saturday, February 24 - Fourth Annual Owl Club Auction Patrons have the opportunity to bid on sports memorabilia, exciting trips, restaurant certificates, and more!
