PHILADELPHIA - Temple will look to extend their six-game win streak, the program's longest since 1991, on Friday at 3:00 p.m. at UMass. The Owls' Atlantic 10 Conference opener can be seen live on UMass All-Access for free.
The Cherry and White enter Friday's contest boasting three scorers, freshman forward Mandi Ruth (14), junior midfielder Alli Lokey (12) and freshman forward Charise Young (11), posting double-digits in points. Ruth heads all Temple goal-scorers (4) while Lokey leads the team in assists (4). Defensively, sophomore goalkeeper Erin Hanshue ranks 8th nationally in both goals against average (1.04) and save percentage (.794) while posting four shutouts this season.
UMass enters Friday's conference contest with a 3-8 overall mark having lost five of their last six matches.
