PHILADELPHIA - Three stellar high school seniors, 6-9 forward Lavoy Allen, 6-10 forward Micheal Eric and 6-2 guard Martavis Kee, have signed National Letters of Intent to attend Temple University, giving head men's basketball coach Fran Dunphy a solid incoming class in his first season as the Owls mentor.

"We are really excited that these three young men have decided to further their educations and careers at Temple University," said Dunphy, who compiled 310 wins in 17 seasons at the helm of the Penn Quakers. "This is our first full recruiting class we have had an opportunity to bring in and we feel good about the things this group brings to the table, both academically and athletically."

Allen, a native of Morrisville, Pa., averaged 12 points and nine rebounds per game as a junior at Pennsbury High. The highly-touted post player is ranked among the top 150 prospects by Hoop Scoop. He participated this past summer at the adidas Superstar Camp.

Eric, a native of Lagos, Nigeria, averaged 16 points, 15 rebounds and eight blocks for the Church Farm School. An athletic front court player, he placed fourth in blocked shots (1.6 bpg.) at the Reebok ABCD Camp this past summer.

Kee, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., averaged 23.5 points and five assists per game as a junior at St. Thomas Aquinas High. An All-Broward County First Team selection in 2005-06, his best game came in the 5A regional semifinals when he scored 28 points in a loss to Palm Beach Dwyer. He participated this past summer at the Nike All-American Camp.
