BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME TO UNVEIL SPECIAL JOHN CHANEY EXHIBIT

PHILADELPHA - Legendary former Temple coach John Chaney is already in the Basketball Hall of Fame, but now he will have a special exhibit there dedicated in his honor. The exhibit will be unveiled Aug. 8 in Springfield, Mass., in a 1 p.m. ceremony featuring Chaney, Bill Cosby, Temple athletic director Bill Bradshaw and current coach Fran Dunphy.
Among the items on display is a ball from Chaney's 700th victory, the ties he wore in his 500th, 600th and 700th victories, a Lynn Greer jersey, a Bill Mlkvy jersey, and numerous photos and other memorabilia.
