MEMORIAL SERVICE SET FOR BILL "PICKLES" KENNEDY

PHILADELPHIA - A memorial service for Temple University Hall of Fame athlete Bill "Pickles" Kennedy will be held at noon on Friday, September 12 at First Presbyterian Church of Ambler.

Family and friends are invited to visit at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kennedy's memory to Hunter Hope Foundation, P.O. Box 643, Orchard Park, NY 14127.

Kennedy, 68, an All-America in both baseball and men's basketball, died on August 31 from injuries suffered in a traffic accident in West Palm Beach, FL.
