FRAN DUNPHY TO THROW OUT FIRST PITCH AT PHILLIES GAME TUESDAY

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple men's basketball coach Fran Dunphy will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Philadelphia Phillies-Houston Astros' game on Tuesday, September 6. The promotion is in conjunction with the Phillies College Night event.

Dunphy is the second Temple head coach to throw out the first pitch at Citizens bank Park this season. Owls head football coach Al Golden threw out the first pitch at a College Night promotion on April 26.

Temple University's Diamond Gems dance team is also scheduled to appear at Citizens Bank Park on September 6.
