Lokey Named A10 Player Of The Week For Third Consecutive Week

PHILADELPHIA- All-American candidate Alli Lokey was named Atlantic 10 Player Of The Week for the week beginning October 15, the league announced Monday. This is Lokey's fourth time this season and third consecutive week receiving the honor.
In the last two games Temple has defeated La Salle, 4-1, and West Chester, 2-1. In the win over West Chester Lokey scored with only 42 seconds remaining in the game. Her last minute game winning goal raised the Owls to a 5-1 conference record and secured a postseason spot in the Atlantic 10 tournament.
After the October 21 games, Lokey is tied for first in the nation for overall goals (17) with Maryland's Katie O'Donnell. She is second in the nation for overall points (42), third for points per game (2.21), and fourth for goals per game (0.89).
Lokey currently leads the Atlantic 10 in eight categories. With her 17 goals and 42 points Lokey moves to ninth on Temple's all-time season goals list and points list. Now holding a career 36 goals and 91 points she ranks sixth on Temple's all-time career goals list and sixth on the all-time points list.
Temple records this season are 14-5 overall and 5-1 in the Atlantic 10 with only one game remaining in regular season play.
