Field Set For 2007 A-10 Field Hockey Championship

PHILADELPHIA- After winning a share of its first-ever regular season title, Temple is the top seed for the 2007 Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Championship, which gets underway on Friday, November 2 at Finnesey Field on the campus of Saint Joseph's University.
The Owls (15-5/6-1) will take on fourth-seeded Saint Joseph's (10-8/4-3), while No. 2 Massachusetts (11-8/6-1) squares off against third-seeded Richmond (6-12/5-2).
Riding a six-game winning streak, Temple seeks its first A-10 Championship since 1994. The Owls are led by all-american candidate Alli Lokey, a four-time A-10 Player of the Week selection who leads the Conference with 18 goals.
The Championship commences on November 2 with the Owls taking on Saint Joseph's at 11am, while the Massachusetts-Richmond semifinal will begin at 2:00pm. The finals of the 2007 A-10 Championship will take place on Saturday, November 3 at 2:00pm.

From the North: NJ Turnpike to Exit 6 (PA Turnpike connector). Follow PA Turnpike to exit 25A (Rte. 476). Follow 476 South to Rte. 76 East, toward Philadelphia. Follow Rte. 76 East to exit 33 (Rte. 1, City Avenue). Follow two miles to SJU. Make a left onto 54th Street and the entrance tothe SJU parking lot is on the right.
From the East: From the Ben Franklin Bridge (via Rte. 676) or the Walt Whitman Bridge: Follow Rte. 76 West to exit 33 (Rte. 1, City Avenue). Follow two miles to SJU. Make a left onto 54th Street and the entrance to the SJU parking lots is on the right.
From the South: Rte. 95 North to 476 North. Follow 476 North to exit 3 (Rte. 1). Follow Rte. 1 North to SJU, approximately 10 miles. Make a right onto 54th Street and the entrance to the SJU parking lots is on the right.
From the West: PA Turnpike to Exit 24 (Valley Forge). Follow Rte. 76 East, toward Philadelphia, to Exit 33 (Rte. 1, City Avenue). Follow two miles to SJU and make a right onto 54th Street and the entrance to the SJU parking lots is on the right.
