Lokey Earns Second Team All-American Honors

PHILADELPHIA- Senior Alli Lokey was named a Second Team All-American as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) on Monday. Lokey is the first to receive this honor for Temple since 2003 when Erin Conroy was named an All-American. Lokey is the only Atlantic 10 field hockey player who received All-American status this season.

Lokey ranked first in the A-10 in eight different statistical categories at the end of her season and was voted the conference's Offensive Player Of The Year. She is a member of the 2007 First Team Mid-Atlantic Region. Lokey earned Atlantic 10 Player Of The Week four times this season and was a one time womensfieldhockey.com Player Of The Week.

She ranked second in the nation for overall goals and points at the end of Temple's season. Lokey also ranked third in points per game, and fourth in goals per game. She was named to the NFHCA 2007 Senior All-Star team and earned A-10 All-Championship honors. The Bainbridge, Pa native is the first A-10 offensive player not from Richmond since 2001.

After finishing her senior season, Lokey ranks seventh on Temple's single season points list, tied for eighth on Temple's single season goals list, and sixth on Temple career goals and points list.
