Lokey Honored at Philadelphia Sportswriters Association Awards Dinner

Cherry Hill, N.J - Temple field hockey star Alli Lokey was one of several area college athletes recognized at the Philadelphia Sportswriters Association on Monday night.
Lokey earned the Second Team All-American honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) and womensfieldhockey.com. She led the A-10 in eight different statistical categories at the end of the season and was named the conference's Offensive Player Of The Year. The Bainbridge, PA native is the first A-10 Offensive Player of the Year not from Richmond since 2001. She is a member of the 2007 First Team Mid-Atlantic Region team.
She ranked second in the nation for overall goals and points at the end of Temple's season. Lokey also ranked third in points per game, and fourth in goals per game. She was named to the NFHCA 2007 Senior All-Star team and earned A-10 All-Championship honors. Lokey earned Atlantic 10 Player Of The Week four times this season and was a one time womensfieldhockey.com Player Of The Week.
After finishing her senior season, Lokey ranks seventh on Temple's single season points list, tied for eighth on Temple's single season goals list, and sixth on Temple career goals and points list.
The PSWA dinner is one of the largest of its kind and honors athletes and coaches from both amateur and professional sports.
