CHARLESTON, SC - Temple University men's basketball player Sergio Olmos suffered a sprained right ankle in the team's practice Wednesday. The 7-0 senior center's status for the team's opener against East Tennessee State on Friday, November 14 (3:00 p.m./Comcast SportsNet) in the Charleston Classic will be a game-time decision according to head coach Fran Dunphy.

Olmos, a co-captain on the defending Atlantic 10 Conference champions, is coming off his best season as an Owl. The Valencia, Spain native started all 34 games last season, averaging 5.8 points and 3.6 rebounds per game while leading the team with a 56.3 shooting percentage. He also placed second on the Cherry and White and seventh in the A-10 in blocks per game (1.44 bpg.).
