Temple Field Hockey To Hold Four Summer Clinics And Camps

PHILADELPHIA- Head field hockey coach Amanda Janney will be holding four different camps and clinics for players of all ages this summer on Temple’s Geasey Field.
The first clinic and tournament, on Saturday, July 12, will be for teams in the Under 16, Under 19 and Adult Women’s Divisions. Each team must have a goalkeeper and 12-16 players on their roster and will be guaranteed four 25 minute games. Registration forms must be received by July 1 with a check for $300.
The 2008 Randy Lokey Memorial Field Hockey Tournament is for girls ages 11-14 and will be held on Sunday, July 13th. Each team must have one goalkeeper and eight field players and will be guaranteed a minimum of five 25 minute seven on seven games. Registration is $400 per team and must be received by July 1st.
August features two events, the first of which is the Sweet Demon Field Hockey Clinic on August 2. The clinic will run from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. and will focus on the speciality skills needed for forwards, midfielders, defenders and goalkeepers. This event is not for beginners but for those that have selected a position that they want to practice. The $80 fee must be received by July 21.
